When she came to Canada she was only 3 years old. We only speak Spanish at home, and she loves her folklore dress.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n One of the most profound challenges for newcomers is finding a sense of belonging. Hispanic Heritage Month helps in this journey. It reminds us that we are not alone and that our contributions to Canada are meaningful.
